The protagonist of the
movie is isolated on a tropical island after a horrific plane crash. He has to
transform himself both physically and emotionally in order to adapt to his
surroundings. He learned how to survive on his own: for example – he caught
fish with a spear and from time to time predicted the weather. This movie is
similar to life of pi because survival is essential in both works – the main
characters had to endure change and become their alter ego to ensure survival.
